Ambassa; 04 August, 2019: Oisho Bani Society nn collaboration with the Dhalai District Forest office   Ambassa observed the Green Sunday by planting 500 saplings in different villages. The Fr. Ivan D’Silva, svd in charge of Ambassa Unit requested the Forest officers to provide the saplings to observe the Green Sunday. They provided 500 saplings from the forest nursery of different kinds. And they were distributed to 10 villages to observe Green Sunday. In the local unit at lalchori, Students, local community and the District Forest officers and staff commemorated the Green Sunday. Range forest officer Mr. Gautham Debbarma appreciated the step taken by Oisho bani Society  for observing the plantation day and bringing awareness among the people to safe guard the environment.
