Agartala , August 6, 2022,  Oisho Bani Society ( OBS ) has been involved in improving the quality of life of farmers, besides addressing the issues of Children with Disability ( CwD ). As, one of it’s development measures, for the farmers in and around Champaknagar, Khumulwng and Jampuijala area, has distributed 5 water pumps, to enhance the irrigation facilities of the farmers. Representatives, of farmers clubs , were present for the distribution program. Fr. Jeevan Kennady , the Director of Oisho Bani Society ( OBS ) addressed, the gathering and motivated the farmers, to make use of the water pumps , effectively and responsively to ensure food security. Fr. Antony , along with OBS staff members of LAND Project were also present for the program. The farmers, expressed their gratitude to Oisho Bani Society and Misean Cara for supporting them to improve their quality of life.
