OishoBani Society (OBS) with the support of Misean Cara organized a day long Kisan Mela on 7th January, 2025 under the supervision of Mr. Bishop Debbarma, the project coordinator of LAND (Leveraging Agriculture Nurturing and Development) at Champaknagar. Fr. Maxim Rodrigues, the President of OBS was the chief guest and other dignitaries were Mr. Parimal Debbarma, Vice President of OBS, Champaknagar, the G.B. members Mr. Kamal Debbarma, Mr. Mangal Debbarma and  Fr. Valentine Dungdung, Secretary of OBS. Fr. Nabin Roshan Lakra, Director of OBS highlighted the purpose of Kisan Mela that farmers play a vital role in nation building and meeting the SDG 2030.
